Meet the Artist...

Hi!  

I'm Jess, a metal artist who creates a unique range of artworks in my Cervantes beachside studio workshop just north of Perth.  I draw my inspiration from the natural beauty of the Indian Ocean on my doorstep, and the unique flora and fauna of Western Australia.

Coming from a background in managing home care services for the elderly, people with disabilities, palliative care and veteran home care, I took an unusual career change when my son was diagnosed with childhood brain cancer at age 5.  I needed a job that would enable me to give him the time and support to focus on his ongoing recovery and therapies and found the perfect opportunity within our family business.

I've squeezed myself into a small corner of my husband's welding and fabrication workshop to create a range of metal art for your home, garden and man cave. 

​

After 4 years of selling my artwork at markets, retail outlets and mainly from my online store, in 2023 I  opened a pop-up shop located outside my studio in Cervantes, Western Australia, just off the Indian Ocean Drive.

To create my popular range of wall art, I use mainly 1.2mm mild steel which is cut to shape and then sanded to a shiny finish.  If kept inside my artworks will retain their shiny finish.  Some customers place them outside to develop a rusty look which is very popular, or might paint to suit their colour scheme.  I recommend DIY spraying with a clear lacquer to keep the shiny finish.  

I also offer artwork in corten steel, which develops a rusty patina on the outside, but will never rust on the inside.  This is very popular for some of the large sculptures and small garden items.  Stainless steel artworks are also available for purchase via custom order.

I offer FREE SHIPPING on purchases from my website (excluding fire pits, fire drums, custom orders and sculptures) . 

Pick up by arrangement, direct from the workshop, is also welcome.
